I am a photographer and cinematographer who has been working in Finland and abroad. Recent works have included dance films made in China and Australia, photography of an art trio as well as collaboration with a dancer and social robots. I have worked with Chinese, American, Hong Kongese and Finnish artists.
I try to select a point of view or perspective of the concept or the person. That perspective is an observation or an opinion I want to create for the viewer to see, feel and interpret. My work aims to describe and deliver a message which was born in that moment of time the shutter was gathering the light. Some of my perspectives have been published in articles and photojournalism series for example in Helsingin Sanomat.
While the number of nations on my list grows (somewhere around 80 currently), the more I understand that the number of the nations or the borders of the nations do not matter at all. The stories, the people, the culture, the nature, the moments are what counts.
Currently I have Tibetan art exhibition of photographs and video in preparation. Constantly I try to learn how to tell the story of a person with photos. I also keep on continuing to learn more about the movement in contemporary dance. As well of course continue to study AI and robots!
